Description
A sturdy woven shopping bag from the Dutch brand Wolkat. Made from old and discarded clothing, donated by consumers in the Netherlands. At Wolkat they control the entire process, from collection, sorting, recycling, spinning and weaving - everything under one roof. No water, paint or chemicals are used during the entire textile recycling process. Wolkat shreds and fiberizes these textiles into pure fibres, which are then sent to their own spinning mill based in Morrocco. In this spinning mill, yarns are spun in different thicknesses and qualities. This is used to make products such as this shopping bag, consisting of 52% recycled textiles and 48% RPET. With long handles. Capacity approx. 18 litres.
